I chose Friends University for the chance to pursue both academics and my dream of playing collegiate football.

During my time there, we won three conference championships — a highlight of my college years.
The experience at Friends was about more than just the wins, though. It was the lifelong friendships, the support from professors and staff, and the combination of competitive athletics, strong academics, and a close-knit community that made my time at Friends so special.

During my time at Friends, I was fortunate to be mentored by many impactful people.
Academically, Nicole Pendelton, Betsy Ross, and Arlen Hontz played key roles in my growth. They pushed me to think critically, work hard, and believe in my potential beyond the classroom.
Athletically, Head Coach Monty Lewis and Cory Johnson had a huge influence on me, too. They taught me the value of discipline, accountability, and showing up for others — lessons that have stuck with me well beyond the field.
I’m truly grateful for the investment so many people made in me during my time here.
Since graduation
Today, I work in the adult beverage industry as a Division Manager, leading a sales team focused on growth, execution, and building strong partnerships.
Outside of work, I serve as a board member at the local Food Bank, staying connected to the community and giving back in a meaningful way.
Most importantly, I’m a husband and proud father to one beautiful baby girl — a role that brings more purpose and joy to my life than anything else.
Looking back, my time at Friends University was a perfect blend of academics and athletics.
It was a time of growth, achievement, and building lifelong relationships.
I’ll always cherish the memories and carry the lessons I learned with me as I continue on my journey.
